»» Conducted three-dimensional computational analyses of cryogenic fluid flow through a small- sized centrifugal turbopump in support of the design of an actual testing facility.
• Research Assistant. Fluids Research Laboratory, Lehigh University, PA, USA. 2001-2006. »» Performed experimental investigations on several classes of flow-structure interactions involving unsteady separated flows, and flow-induced noise and vibration. Designed experimental setups and conducted research using quantitative visualization technique of high-image-density Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV) together with various flow measurement, motion control and data acquisition systems. »» Worked in liaison with numerical simulation groups as part of parallel experimental-numerical efforts. »» Developed software in image processing, and statistical and spectral analysis.
• Teaching Assistant. Lehigh University, PA, USA. 2002-2006. »» Assisted in the teaching of thermodynamics and engineering mechanics courses as well as several laboratory courses in the areas of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, dynamics, solid mechanics and general mecanical engineering.
