This panel discussion hosted by UTIAS will help bridge the gap between academia and industry realities in aerospace engineering. Join us for an eye-opening industry panel designed to connect your learning with the real-world challenges and opportunities of the engineering profession.

Whether you're mapping out your career path or just curious about what life looks like after graduation, this is your chance to ask the tough questions from seasoned professionals that have candid insights, hard-earned lessons, and practical advice. This panel will be moderated by Professor David Zingg.

Frank Teti

Frank Teti is an award winning senior aerospace program manager with over 20 years experience designing new and complex high risk technical solutions including; cameras, telescopes, vision systems, LIDAR, robotic devices and manipulators for the space industry. He's been recognized for leading large teams of up to 45 engineers to propose, design and deliver products for commercial and government customers.

Cameron Dickinson

Cameron Dickinson
MDA Space

Cameron Dickinson's work at MDA includes designing and developing scientific instruments for Planetary exploration. He is the technical lead for the OSIRIS Laser Altimeter, which reached the asteroid Bennu in fall of 2018, and returned a sample in 2023. He was also the technical lead for Replacement CAMeras on the International Space Station (RCAM). Most recently, he is the Vision System Architect for Canadarm3, and am working on upcoming Planetary Missions (Such as OSIRIS APEX), and several ISRU pursuits relating to lunar construction.

Martin Stangl brings more than a decade of experience consulting in the field of building and local air quality. Martin’s leadership and technical expertise help deliver responsible, high-performance buildings that optimize occupant experience and owner interests across all sectors, including institutional, laboratory, and healthcare settings. He is an emerging industry thought leader, presenting frequently at industry and academic conferences and participating in industry-leading organizations such as ASHRAE.
